Earlier this year, we spent 8 unforgettable days in Florence, Italy, immersed in the city’s rich history, world-class art, exceptional cuisine, and the breathtaking beauty of Tuscany. From guided cultural tours and hands-on culinary experiences to vineyard excursions and unforgettable group dinners, here’s a day-by-day look at some of the highlights from our journey.

Arrival day

Guests arrived in Florence and began the experience with a welcome gathering at sunset, offering the perfect introduction to both the city and the group. Set against one of Florence’s most scenic evening backdrops, the opening reception featured drinks, appetizers, and an opportunity for guests to meet one another, settle in, and begin the week with an unforgettable first impression of the city.

Day 1

The first full day immersed guests in the heart of Florence with a guided walking tour through the city’s historic streets, piazzas, and architectural landmarks. The day concluded with a visit to the renowned Galleria dell’Accademia to experience Michelangelo’s David in person, followed by a group dinner at a local restaurant where guests could unwind and reflect on the day’s discoveries.

Day 2

The day began with a memorable olive oil tasting hosted by a local family, with optional wine sampling adding to the experience. Guests then enjoyed free time to explore Florence at their own pace, whether shopping, sightseeing, or simply taking in the atmosphere of the city. Day 3

Guests had the option to begin the morning with a scenic uphill walk to one of Florence’s most iconic viewpoints, offering panoramic views of the city skyline. Day 4

A hands-on culinary experience took center stage as guests participated in a cooking class at one of Florence’s premier cooking schools.
